Will we ever be satisfied? Part I

We as women always want more, or want what someone else has. We would like to change this or that.

My bum is too big. Look at these wrinkles. I am too thin. I want curly hair. I want a flat tummy. I want a big bootie. I wish my boobs where bigger.  How can I ever wear a dress without a bra with these big boobs? My arms are flabby.  My legs look like tree stumps. I have weird knees or whatever it is.

We always find something wrong or something we would like to change.  Sometimes we feel we have to find something wrong or we listen to what other people want instead of what we want and what we feel comfortable with.

We want to be fit, healthy, have a good body and still have energy for all the stuff we have to do and fit it all in our busy lives – it’s hard, very hard. But sometimes we just have to simplify things. We make it complicated. It doesn’t have to be. We just have to go back to basics.

 

And yes – we are all different and beautiful

Roz1We are never going to look like ‘that’ or ‘this’ or ‘her’ … but we can be the best we can be. We are all built differently and that is ok. Some are tall and thin, others have hips and bums, some are short, some have big or small boobs. Imagine how boring life would be if we all looked exactly the same.

Some people like vanilla and some like chocolate. Same with bodies – some like thin/skinny, some like curves, some like big boobs or big bootie.

We tend to like what we don’t have or what society says is currently in fashion i.e. what is sexy, pretty and beautiful.

We are all uniquely beautiful – we just need to see it ourselves and others will see more of what they already know … you are beautiful.

 

BUT – THIS IS NOT JUST ABOUT BEAUTY – IT’S ABOUT  FEELING HEALTHY, STRONG, ENERGETIC, AT PEACE, SEXY, BEAUTIFUL, CONFIDENT, JOYFUL , YOUNG AND HAPPY  … TO LIVE LONGER AND ENJOY THE GREAT  THING CALLED LIFE … TO REALLY EXPERIENCE LIFE TO THE FULLEST !!!

 

Roz2First, we as woman need to accept and love ourselves and our body shape.  There is also no point of being skinny or striving towards SKINNY, while at the same time feeling  like crap because you are unhealthy and have no energy and have to live on lettuce and vinegar  … where is the fun in that ?? Who wants to pay that kind of price to look good?

Overall fitness is important and not just how we look. Through paying attention to our fitness we pay attention to our soul and mind. You’ve heard it a million times and it’s because it is true. We are a unit and all aspects of life work together … inside and outside. If you feel good, healthy and happy, the world you see will be a happy pleasant environment and people will love to share your environment with you.

Of course, there are ups and down but that’s life in all aspects. There is a reason.

How would you ever know what strong means before you were weak, or happiness before sadness? Every thing in life has an opposite; a ying to the yang.

But we can ‘work’ on our life to have more ups than downs, and more smiles than tears.

We are here to live life regardless so why not make the best of it … even if we don’t always understand it.
